The business type is a bit of both chicken model and pig model,
Our main customer is Goverment predominently infrustructure projects namely :roads contracts, water supply contracts, building contracts etc
Its a chicken because the work is recurring from the various municipalties and the revenue is not that big, its fairly small relative to the size of our enterprise.
Its a pig model at the same time because we often get big contracts that generate big revenue at the same time.
I guess its also a locust as well.
From the professor ... To help you sort things out, an item needs to be clarified: do you bid for the contracts you work on? If the government gives them to on the basis of past work, you could make the argument that you're either a Chicken or a Black Widow. If you win the contracts through a formal bidding process, and there's no near-certainty that you'll get future business from the customer, your business is a Pig.
The difference between Chicken and Black Widow is primarily one of how many customers you deal with. If departments issue contracts on their own, you have multiple customers (and would be a Chicken). If the government is the contracting entity and the departments merely administer the projects, you have a single customer (and are a Black Widow).
Thank you for sharing the details.
