(Brooklyn, NY)
My business is owning large apartment buildings. The buildings have 50+ apartments average rents being $850 per month. I believe my business would be classified as a Chicken because I know the amount of rent I will be collecting and when far in advance, which would make my revenue stream recurring and not simply repetitive, and each individual tenant represents a fraction of my annual revenue (.002%).
I will be happy to hear any feedback on my analysis.
Cheers!
{From the professor: bingo. Rental properties are, in the words of one company I worked with, a big "chicken coop."}
